Open Day
An open day was held at Llandegla on Saturday 1st July. Danny Butler, the European Trials Champion (ranked 4th in the world) performed amazing displays on an obstacle course specially set-up over planks and pallets and amongst trees! Other attractions included a local band, face painting, an interactive RSPB display and barbeque.
A cinema also showed the latest hot mountain bike videos, and a variety of companies displayed their latest kit, Kona and Cove being among the brands on offer. Jason Rennie’s world record breaking helmet and jersey was raffled off, and he was around all day signing autographs. Keep checking this website for news about future events!

Alan Pugh AM, Minister for Culture, the Welsh Language and Sport, opens the Coed Llandegla nature garden. This new feature is designed to encourage wildlife to the site and provide an educational facility for children; it’s a joint project between the RSPB, UPM Tilhill and One Planet Adventure. |
