World record jump set at Llandegla!
A new world record for jumping a bike has been set at Coed Llandegla Forest. Jason Rennie, riding a Kona Stab Supreme, jumped an amazing distance of 134 feet and 6 inches. In freezing temperatures a select crowd gathered in the forest and watched Jason comfortably blow away the current record of 116 feet 8 inches, which has been held for the last few years by BMXer Colin Winkleman. It was a show of pure professionalism and precise bike handling. You’ll just have to buy the next issue of Dirt for the full story and photos!
