TRAIL UPDATES -  TUESDAY 15TH APRIL 2014

TRUE BLUE - NOW OPEN

OFFAS DYKE PATH - NOW OPEN

PROGRESS REPORT B LINE - This section of trail remains closed. However, we have instructed contractors to make repairs to the section of trail from the end of the North Shore to waymarker post 230.   Contractors have been instucted to commence repairs to the North Shore structure. Work in both areas should begin week commencing the 14th April - WORK HAS COMMENCED AND WE WILL UPDATE AS SOON AS TRAIL IS OPEN.

 

TREE FELLING

WE ARE CURRENTLY FELLING TREES ADJACENT TO THE ORANGE WALKING TRAIL (nr. THE GREEN GATE).  PLEASE BE AWARE AND OBEY ALL SIGNS, DIVERSIONS AND DIRECTIONS


 

DUE TO WIND BLOWN TREES THE TRUE BLUE REMAINS CLOSED BUT IS DIVERTED AROUND THE OLD BLUE TEMPORARILY

*B LINE IS ALSO CLOSED DUE TO WINDBLOW OVER THE NORTH SHORE AND THE WALKING ROUTES REMAIN CLOSED BUT FOREST ROADS ARE ACCESSIBLE ON FOOT PLEASE ENQUIRE AT THE VISITOR CENTRE FOR DETAILS.*

Car parking at Coed Llandegla Forest costs £4.50 for a full day ticket.

Annual car season tickets cost £60.00.

Mini Bus parking costs £12.50 per day.

 Income generated from car park revenue goes towards the continued

development and maintenance of the facilities at Coed Llandegla Forest.


The forest has mountain biking trails suitable for beginners and family groups; more challenging routes for experienced bikers; and a choice of picturesque walking trails. Please obey all Trail Diversion and Trail Closure notices.
